Kentuck PAIN and EDZ GAIN

I join my friend, Brian W7JET for a Summits On The Air activation of Kentuck Mountain. This was a formidable bushwhack of 5.5 miles and 1800 feet of elevation gain. Rocks, rocks, rocks and more rocks with one fence crossing after another and exposed ridgelines. This one was quite a physical challenge. That was the pain part. Once we reached the summit I tried out an extended double zepp antenna that Malen VE6VID sent me. That was the gain part.
