Just a short video with some contacts made with my Icom IC-705 on 40 metres (7 MHz).
I was only using the internal battery and the antenna was a half wave end fed wire only a few feet off the ground.
Soon I’ll be upgrading the antenna to allow working on 80m and getting it much higher, but not bad for a first run. You’ll even notice a bit of DX from some US stations.
