Great Expecations… Does the BG5CQV CQV-SWR-508 have RFI Issues?

Is the CQB SWR/Power Meter really noisy, or is it just ham radio rumor?
In my last video we swept the bands with a TinySA and found no RFI — but some viewers weren’t convinced. So in this follow-up, I connected the TinySA directly to the meter’s transmitter port with a dummy load on the antenna port to eliminate every possible variable.

The result? Still no detectable RFI.

In this video you’ll see:
• How to set up a TinySA Ultra to hunt shack noise
• Why using a dummy load gives you the real answer
• Step-by-step RFI testing across multiple HF bands
• What happens when you repeat the test with the community’s suggested method

Whether you’re chasing phantom birdies or just curious about RFI hunting, this test shows you how to separate fact from myth and keep your shack quiet.
