I never liked MagLoop antennas. Until now. This is the Alpha Antenna Portable MagLoop and it is SO much different than other MagLoops I’ve tried out. First and foremost, you can do 100 Watts SSB, 50 Watts CW, & 25 Digital. Most every other loop I know of can only do about 30 watts max. It’s made in the USA in MO, is extremely light weight, built of carbon fiber infused 3D printed material, Times Microwave LMR400 and even has a built in tripod for easy portable setup on a table or you can mount it on either a 1/4 20 tripod or a 5/8" tripod mount. I really wanted to make this video for those who can’t put up an HF antenna at their home, so I shot it in my living room. The dang thing actually works inside my house! It’s crazy!
