Does your radio lock up in transmit after you press PTT? Do you have to unplug accessories, disconnect cables, or power-cycle the radio just to regain control, only for the problem to return on the next transmission? The culprit may not be bad firmware or a defective radio. Common-mode RF current can travel along the outside of your coax and find its way into microphones, USB cables, computers, and radio-control circuits.
