More than one Oggie has suggested I review the Bilal Isotron 20m Single Band Antenna (https://www.isotronantennas.com/). I used channel funds to purchase one but was delayed in testing by the weather. My new assistant and I put it up today and took measurements. It is a compromise antenna, meaning not as good as a dipole, but it does work. Learn the details in the video!

This is not a ham radio video, but it is in addition to today’s ham video, not instead of it. This video series is documenting my progress toward becoming a Sport Pilot. The airport is Blake Field, Delta, Colorado, KAJZ. My instructor is Sue Mosher. Recording device is GoPro Hero 8 Silver attached to a wing strut on the port (left) side. Sound is recorded using a microphone inside the ear cup of my Lightspeed Tango headphones.
