Today I am testing my new very long wire receive antenna. If you have headphones, you will notice the transmit vertical antenna is on your left ear – and the receive antenna is on your right ear.. Anyway, I’m just having a bit of fun!

I made a custom doublet antenna for use with an outboard ATU using 16m of 450 ohm ladder line and 22m each leg of DX50 wire and a custom doublet centre. This is the short, edited video of the long-form "AMSR" style video uploaded here: https://youtu.be/s4WzIgCvAbQ

Under very high power, I had an Amplifier fault and then high SWR. What caused this? Did something carbonise and then cleared? Would it re-appear with QRO again? Your guess is as good as mine. I would need to strip it all down and check. I would prefer just to remake them all! Please let me know what you think! Callum.
