Interesting look at High-Gain and Extremely Long Wire Antennas (conceptual – I haven’t tried these!). Apparently Dipoles and End Fed Antennas do this! Have you tried one? Do you have the space? Give it a go. Of course Beverage Antennas have similar characteristics (but work totally differently) which is why there are fab at RX.

I stream most Friday mornings from my main shack. Today I am using the 12.4m Signature DX Commander antenna for transmit and a variety of additional receive antennas. Logging is N1MM+ and we’ll be using the club callsign M0XXT – see QRZ for details. Callum.
