The amateur class licence will commence on 19 February 2024 in Australia. Some amateur radio operators will have already received an email from the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) about this.

The International Space Station has a crossband FM repeater onboard that amateur radio operators can use. The ISS passes overhead regularly, sometimes several times a day, so it’s possible to get lots of attempts to work others via the fastest repeater ever built!

FIX The Icom IC-705 With This SIMPLE Upgrade

One issue I have with the Icom IC-705 was the lack of a USB-C connector for charging and data transfer. In addition, the amplifier keying lines were a little underpowered with limitations in current draw. This upgrade fixes all of these issues.
