Richard VK7ZBX gave an exciting and in-depth talk into VHF/UHF contesting including portable operation, logging and the fun associated with amateur radio contests. Covered points were why we contest, how to get involved, what is required, strategies and things learned over the years. Particular attention was paid to the Remembrance Day contest upcoming for VK including VKCL tips.

Martin VK7GN gave a fascinating and highly educational talk on the art of HF contesting. Covered points were planning, getting a feel for the band, operating technique and some record contact rates! Also included were some tips on using VKCL for the upcoming Remembrance Day contest.
