People have always said good things about LDG but I’ve never really used one so I couldn’t confidently recommend them to people. In this video I took 4 non resonant antennas out to the park to see what this portable tuner could do and I was not disappointed. Admittedly there was some user error on my part getting things to tune, but once we got past the "me" obstacle, this tuner performed great.

I have finally figured out how to sync contacts between WSJT-X, Gridtracker, & RUMlogNG. For all these years I’ve been manually importing my FT8 contacts into RUMlogNG. I knew there was a way to have it automatically do it, but the RUMlogNG manual wasn’t much help. So, thanks go our AI overlords at Google, I figured out how to do it and I thought I’d share it. I also figured out how to import an ADIF into WSJT-X so you can add any missing contacts into it and have Gridtracker show all of your grids on the beautiful map!

The Contraption by @HamRadioDuo was something I saw a couple months ago and became slightly obsessed with. It’s a 3D printed design that houses your QMX, QDX, or QCX and incorporates an internal battery power bank and their Just OK Mini antenna as well as magnates on each side for mounting a CW key and cell phone. The only problem is they made it for a slightly different battery bank. That’s were my obsession really went down the rabbit hole. I had to learn how to modify the file in Bambu Studio to widen all 3 parts by 1mm to fit my battery. Would you believe it actually worked, after many prototypes. This is the story and build of this absolutely ridiculous Contraption.
