In this video, I walk through a new Meshtastic tracker based on the Seeed Studio Wio Tracker L1 that lets you compose and send messages directly from the device itself. No Android “control surface” required once it’s set up. The screen, joystick, and firmware finally make the node usable on its own.
That’s a big deal.
Is the on-device keyboard perfect? No.
Is it usable? Absolutely.
Is this a step in the right direction for Meshtastic hardware? 100%.
