In this video I’m going to show you how to remove one "chip" and unlock more frequencies for use in your radio. This is often called the MARS/CAP mod or Full TX. This is one of those things that is illegal to use if you don’t have the right license, but as hams we are allowed to tinker and test and modify things within the parameters of our license. And as you know, in case of an emergency, you are allowed to use the best method of communication available to you to request help.
