Join me on this real-world POTA/SOTA activation gone sideways at Scotts Bluff National Monument. What started as a promising day with a fresh go-bag and perfect conditions turned into a frustrating mess when my radio flatlined. No contacts, no signal, no clue.

This video takes you behind the scenes of the failure and the fix—how I diagnosed the issue, repaired the rig, and came back swinging to activate the park and snag those contacts. Along the way, I’ll also show you what’s in my new go-bag and how I’ve streamlined portable ops even further.
