In this video, we review and field-test the SetPower RF20 12V portable fridge/freezer to see if it’s the ultimate road trip and POTA (Parks on the Air) companion.
We unbox the RF20, test its 15-minute rapid cooling claims in the Texas heat, modify the 12V power lead with Anderson Powerpoles for easy vehicle and battery integration, and run real-world current draw tests on a 20Ah Bioenno LiFePO4 battery. Finally, we take it out to Cedar Hill State Park to see if it causes any RFI/RF noise spikes on HF while operating off solar and battery power!
