In this video I test the Yaesu FT-991A with the Ares 9:1 EFRW antenna to see if the internal tuner can tune all the bands 160m-6m. Now I know this antenna won’t be real efficient on 160 and 80 but you may still be able to make some contacts. Go ahead and try it doesn’t hurt. In the second part of the video I add wire to the 41 to take it to 71′, be sure to watch to see what that does!
