I Joined the Connecticut POTA Activators group for a Ham Radio POTA (Parks on the air) activation of Minnie Island State Park in Connecticut. The park is only accessible by Kayak since it is located in the middle of Gardner lake in Salem, CT.

I finally got my sister to make a POTA contact on my favorite Ham Radio band – 6 meters. May 25, 2025 was Ham Radio 6 Meter FM day to coincide with the 6 meter FM calling frequency of 52.525.
