Today we’re taking the Retevis MB1 (Anytone Hera) CB radio and proving it works — then showing how it can be converted to transmit on the ham bands.

Is it really illegal? Not if you know the FCC rules. As a licensed ham operator (KM9G), I’ll walk you through what’s actually allowed, how this CB performs, and what happens when you open up the frequencies.
