Linwood writes with a difficult question. Where can he put his HF antenna?
We take an in-depth look at his situation and make some suggestions that might be helpful to anyone looking to put up an HF antenna in a real-world environment. I don’t use Linwood’s last name or callsign to preserve his privacy.

Project Horus began in 2010 as the brain child of a group of radio Amateurs in Adelaide, South Australia. Now, 11 years later, one of the ideas that has been discussed many times within the group is finally going to be attempted. A flight is tentatively planned for Sunday March 7th that will carry aloft our first ever digital ATV transmitter!
The next meeting of AREG on Friday February 19th will feature a presentation and Q&A session with Mark VK5QI. He will take us though everything you need to know about how local amateurs will be able to to receive and decode the ATV signal.

I had the opportunity to meet the great people at Rolltech Manufacturing and do a factory tour. Rolltech makes many of the custom parts that go into the Chameleon antennas. If you were curious why the Chameleon Antennas are so well made, its from the fine work George and Julian are doing at Rolltech!

Here are my Ham Radio contacts from Winter Field Day. I had some camera trouble during the event so instead of making a full length vide I decided to make a YouTube #Shorts out of the footage I salvaged.
