I like it when vendors accept feedback when there are problems. I like it even better when they fix them. And that’s why I like Chinese radios. All makers have problems, but not all OWN those problems like China does. Say what you want, but I don’t get that from Icom or Yaesu.

If you’ve ever struggled with high SWR, long coax runs, or constantly re-tuning when you change bands, this might be the upgrade that fixes it. In this video, I’ll show how the URT-1 integrates with the Chameleon MIL Whip and the 17′ Stainless Steel Whip, how I mounted it on my RV, and what kind of matching range you can really expect from a remote tuner at the antenna.

This isn’t a “review” — it’s a real-world test of whether putting the tuner at the antenna feedpoint actually makes a difference for portable or mobile operators.
