Xiegu has officially revealed the new **G7250**, a full-power **100-watt HF and 6-meter SDR transceiver** with a split radio design, 7-inch capacitive touchscreen, physical controls, built-in automatic antenna tuner, spectrum display, and waterfall. The control head and main radio body can operate separately over Ethernet at distances of up to 100 meters, opening the door to cleaner shack installations and remote operating setups.

In this video, we take a first look at the Xiegu G7250 specifications and discuss where this radio may fit in the increasingly competitive 100W HF market. It covers 0.5 to 30 MHz plus 50 to 54 MHz, supports SSB, CW, AM, NFM, and digital modes, produces 100W on HF and 90W on 6 meters, and includes network baseband streaming for compatible SDR software. Pricing and final availability have not yet been announced, but this may be Xiegu’s most ambitious radio yet.

If you are wondering how to build a Meshtastic node from a kit, how to flash Meshtastic firmware, or how to get your first Meshtastic message sent between two LoRa nodes, this video walks through the full process from start to finish.
This build uses the N39 Meshtastic kit. The goal is to go from parts in a box to a working Meshtastic node that can talk to another node.

This is intended as a beginner-friendly Meshtastic build guide. You do not need to be a radio expert to follow along, but you should be comfortable handling small electronics, USB cables, firmware flashing tools, and basic troubleshooting.
Meshtastic works by creating a mesh network between compatible LoRa nodes. Each node can pass messages along to other nodes, extending communication beyond direct radio range when enough nodes are present. Range depends on antenna choice, terrain, height, power settings, and local RF conditions.
If your Meshtastic node will not flash, will not pair, or will not send messages, check the USB cable, serial driver, boot/reset button timing, firmware target, Bluetooth pairing state, and app settings. Most Meshtastic setup problems are small cable, driver, firmware, or pairing issues rather than a failed device.
