In the last video, we took a look at the Gabil Triple Mag Mount, but today we’re going in a different direction — the Gabil Clamp Mount. This is a heavy-duty, adjustable clamp-style antenna mount designed for temporary or permanent use: tailgates, park tables, fence posts, roof racks, cargo carriers, towers, walls and more.

In this video I’ll unbox it, check the build quality, show you how it works, and talk about where this mount makes more sense than a mag mount. If you do POTA activations, truck-bed installs, tripod masts, or balcony setups, this one might be worth a look.

I usually run higher wattage, but 5 watts got the job done! Check out the tuning on 17 meters. Then, I moved to 20 meters to find more contacts.

Fine-tuning your antenna? Use the telescopic stick! Adjust the whip’s position for small SWR changes. Coarse adjustments with the inductor tap will make bigger jumps.
