As some of you may or may not know, I was in Florida last week. On Thursday, I flew Spirit Airlines from Houston to Miami with the intention of flying from Miami back to Houston on Monday. Saturday, Spirit Airlines ceased all operations and I was left stranded. Do I rent a car? Do I find another airline? No. I found another solution. Thanks to the wonderful people we meet in the ham radio community, and a whole lot of dumb luck, I got home. This is my journey.
