Shortwave Listening with your HF Transceiver (#316)

Very likely your HF transceiver comes with a General Coverage Receiver, meaning it can receive all the MF/HF bands, not just ham bands. Can you reuse and recycle 18650 LiPo batteries for other projects and make a battery pack for 12 volts? Yes!

At a regular DATV experimenters night, Justin VK7TW took the audience through an update on his 18650 recycling project with a 12.6V battery pack. Justin covered the battery differences with 3.7V versus 4.2V batteries, the difference in balance charger boards, the Battery Matrix and construction method and the schematic of the battery configuration.
