Although I happened to win my chosen IOTA Contest Category (Woo-Hoo!), the real purpose of this video is to thank those "behind-the-scenes" folks who collate the contest logs and then manage to score the whole event inside 6-weeks. Reading between the lines, there’s probably a ton of errors that creep into these logs with people claiming the wrong category and mixing-and-matching corrupt ADIF files etc. By the sound of it, many of these are probably fixed "by-hand" until eventually, when all the logs can be machine readable, a big process somewhere is finally given the task of collating eveything and all the different categories; multi ops, single ops, 12 hours, 24 hours, assisted, non-assisted, island stations, world-stations – and more into order. So house-points and gold-stars all around. Thank you to the invisible team behind the scenes. 73, Callum M0MCX (Club Call M0XXT).
Zima Blade 7700 vs. Raspberry Pi 5: NAS Showdown! #shorts
The Zima Blade 7700 single-board computer is tested as a Raspberry Pi replacement. While the Pi 5 outperforms the Zima in some tests, the Zima Blade excels with its PCIe 2.0 and dual SATA ports, offering serious storage bandwidth.
I just got my new base station radio setup and I want to try and make a bunch of contacts via many different modes. We’ll try to hit SSB, CW, FT8, JS8Call, SSTV, Winlink, etc. Get the modes ready and we’ll try and hit them all!

@rdh2059 clarifies a question from a short concerning grounding. The station is on the opposite side of a "rambler" house from the utility ground rod. How far away does the station need to be for the ground rods not to be bonded together?

This time, I went to the Telford Rally. I ran a TS-590SG and a DX Commander Antenna from the car and just had a chill-time, chatting and reminiscing with folks. See what you think! Callum.

I have a friend, I’ll call him Tuje (pronounced Tooge). He has decades of experience in commercial VHF/UHF radio communications. He wants to share his knowledge, but he also wants to remain anonymous. I offered to host his videos on my channel. So here is another video in an ongoing series of helpful videos, primarily relating to VHF communications, but certainly not limited to that topic.
