I like the Yaesu FTX. There, I Said It…And I’m an Icom guy!! I have been using this radio SO much since I bought it at Dayton and I’m really comfortable with the user interface now. I have done almost every single POTA activation with this radio since Dayton too. It sounds great, it looks great, the receiver is great, the battery life is great, and the audio is FANTASTIC! Yaesu has fixed all the bugs we were dealing with when it was released and I can now say it is finally ready for prime time.
