I invite a newly licensed technician class operator to join me for a Summits on the Air activation. We discuss some of the basic ideas and concepts needed to get on the radio for the first time. We also discuss a few of the basics for activating a SOTA peak. Then we put it all in to practice and activate a summit. On the summit, It’s the first time this mystery guest has ever been on the air.
