A Moxon antenna, a compact, two-element Yagi, typically achieves a gain of around 5.5 to 9.7 dBi (decibels relative to an isotropic antenna). It’s known for its high front-to-back ratio and a wide forward lobe, making it a good choice for directional communication.
The Moxon antenna or Moxon rectangle is a simple and mechanically rugged two-element parasitic array, single-frequency antenna.[1] It takes its name from the amateur radio operator and antenna handbook author Les Moxon
