Adam K6ARK has designed a very affordable, well designed Morse code paddle. This cw key is very inexpensive and yet is a great performer in the field. It is not available for sale so you’ll have to rely on your own resourcefulness to obtain one. If you have a 3D printer, Adam provides you with all the information you need to make one for yourself. If you don’t have a 3D printer . . . well, it might be time for you to befriend somebody who does!
Find the bill of materials with links, a list of required tools, the model .stl files, and assembly instructions on Adam K6ARK’s "Printables" website:

Each person’s portable radio gear is uniquely suited to them. As you build and assemble the pieces to your functional QRP ham radio station, you will customize it to your own preferences. Alan NM5S has been operating QRP radio in the field for many years. He has created a very functional station for himself. Like many of us, Alan enjoys building radio kits and antennas and making modifications to them to fit his preferences. Alan joins us in this episode to talk about his Summits on the Air adventures, his radio gear, and some of the interesting mods he’s made to his gear.
Join us as we talk about how YOU can make modifications to your radio gear in this episode of the All Portable Discussion Zone “AP/DZ”. Every aspect of Portable Ops is explored in this biweekly live stream as we discuss news, gear, achievements, the workbench, contests, awards and more – find all Portable Ops related topics here.

How do you know if you’re transmission quality is good, or conversely if you’re too wide and it sounds terrible?
This month’s AREG presentation will be from Neil Abraham, VK5KA, on the topic of transmitter quality measurements. Neil will cover practical methods of testing and optimising your transmit system, from the audio going into it, to the radio signals coming out of it. If you want to be sure your on-air signal is clean as a whistle, this is a talk not to be missed!
