Silvertrain has a new course starting shortly conducted by Fred Swainston via remote (Zoom). Please pass this on if you know of someone interested.
"I am providing an Amateur Radio Foundation licence training program commencing on Monday 19th June 2023. For those who are interested in this program please express interest via email trainsafe@silvertrain.com.au. More information will be provided.
The program will be over three consecutive Monday evenings commencing at 7pm Australian Eastern Standard Time and run for approximately 3 hours.
There is a fee for this course of $10.00. Study resources will be provided.

In this video I look into trying to get the SWR better by installing a tiger tail to my IC705.
Don’t get me wrong the signal stick is totally usable but I thought the SWR would have been better.
SWR isn’t everything but I don’t want it so high that it hurts my radios, so I want to do some receive testing with these antennas and a couple others I have later.
