WSPR is a great tool to look at and measure propagation on the various ham radio bands. In this video I test my EFHW (end fed half wave) antenna to see if it is "getting out" and who could hear me. The results are quite interesting and you can clearly see propagation results!

Support Ham Radio DX!
Firstly, I want to say how much I greatly appreciate all that you do in supporting this channel and furthering ham radio into the future.
It is important for me as a creator to acknowledge the support of people such as yourself and all the help that the ham radio community provides, so this is just one way of giving back to you.
You will notice the join button has now appeared on my channel for YouTube memberships. Here you find a list of different tiers of membership available. Some have more perks than others, you can check those out. Some will get early access to videos that I post, others will get a shout out on both my live streams and the http://hamradiodx.net website.
You will also get a small icon next to your name in live chats and comments that publicly show your support as a member of this channel. This icon will change colour the longer you stay a member until you reach the gold antenna icon to reflect your loyalty.
You, the viewer are a large reason why I continue to make videos and share knowledge with the ham radio community. Even if you cannot be a member, I still appreciate all your comments and support. But, if you can be a member of Ham Radio DX, that would be great… so I’ll leave it up to you.
73, Hayden VK7HH

I grew up right before Algore invented the internet and I had a lot of fun with CB radio and packet radio. 5 years later it’s all gone because you can do the same thing and better over the internet. I can only suspect the same thing will happen with amateur radio. Who wants to string up a long cable from tree to tree and buy a bunch of ancient equipment if they can download an app that will do the same thing. probably very few people. enjoy the hobby while there are still remnants of it, pretty soon it will be nothing but static and maybe a little interference from 5G towers 😛
I’m not pulling the wool over your eyes! Yes, I use wool as part of the project. See how I put my station utility speaker together.

Unlike trucking everything you own to a park for a POTA activation or field day, packing ham gear for a motorcycle trip is much more like packing for a SOTA activation. Heres a look at what I’m doing to pack lite and play big.
