When hiking to the top of a mountain for Summits on the Air you occasionally encounter commercial communication towers. These towers can cause interference with your 2 meter hand-held ham radio. Placing a band pass filter between the radio and the antenna will mitigate this issue.

This is a great little toy for getting your radio on while you’re away from your shack. Super compact, easy to setup… no Radio, Charger, Antenna, Hotspot, etc needed. Just this device and your computer and you’re on the "air"!
