On this Summits on the Air winter bonus point excursion, my first activation was on Baby Black. This summit is a cinder cone located in Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument. Usually it is a hard hike to the top with the loose cinder. But it was about 20 degrees and after a rain storm, so the cinders were frozen, making the hike much easier.
