It’s set in WWII, in a coastal French town, and involves a clandestine shortwave broadcaster and the German radioman assigned to track her down. And of course there’s a love story.
Like most general media, they take a lot of shortcuts with the technology. We’re not upset… we’re amused. It’s fun to see how they handle radio in a series that is so dependent on it.
Then we use a demo from Helge LA6NCA to show you how it’s really done. We shortened Helge’s video from 16 minutes down to 6. Here’s a link to the original:
