Ham Radio Saves Off Roading Family (CA to OHIO!)

A ham radio family was rescued after getting stuck in the mud in Death Valley California. The stuck motorist used their 10 meter radio and got into contact with Calleb KD8TGB who reached out to California Sheriffs. Other hams from the POTA Facebook group also got into contact with the Death Valley Park Rangers. Good job Calleb, Craig and all the POTA Hams on Facebook for lending a hand!
