“A Repeater Officer’s Work is Never Done” – Fixing a Ham Radio Repeater!

On a sunny spring day, I decided to go for a drive to fix my 70cm (440MHz) amateur radio repeater. The repeater controller is based off Allstar/Asterisk node and there is an IP problem that required some diagnosing and tweaking. Join me on my road trip up to the site.

I would love to see a large Ham Radio presence at this event – most of these folks don’t know what Ham Radio is, but they know me because we’ve volunteered with DPA for several years. When I told them about my channel with 93,000+ subscribers, they were excited to have me livestream their event. It would be an awesome thing to see the HamFam show up for this event, if you are close-by and have the time that night.
